Shop Small, Shop Conscious, Shop South L.A. Campaign Now thru February 2026

Be a conscious consumer, recycle your dollars in your local community, practice cooperative economics, because this will help Create Economic Growth in South L.A. communities. Support businesses that respects your community, that hires and participate in your community.

Shop Small is about more than just shopping at small businesses. It’s a cause that helps to support local economies and promote vibrant, diverse communities #ShopSouthLA. It’s also a nationwide movement fueled by shoppers, business owners, and organizers who come together and celebrate the community because they know it matters. It’s an annual shopping tradition dedicated to supporting small businesses and celebrating communities across the country.

Founded by American Express in 2010, Small Business Saturday is celebrated every year on the Saturday after Thanksgiving. This year, you can support local Small Businesses on Saturday November 29 at our #ShopSouthLA Shop Small Business Expo & Marketplace.

There are many ways for you to participate with our Shop Local, Shop South LA campaign;

- Support local Small Businesses and L.A. South Certified Members that supports your community.
