Our Why?
South Los Angeles Communities have a high rate of Under-employment, Unemployment, Homelessness, Food Insecurity, Wealth Disparity, Institutional Racism, Mental and Chronic Health issues. The Los Angeles South HOPE Foundation (LASHF) will partner with our Members and community stakeholders to strategies solutions.
Our Mission is to Engage, Educate, Empower, and Inspire Hope in underserved communities of South Los Angeles. Our Goals are to bridge and foster relationships between local businesses, government agencies, and community residents, in order to help South L.A. communities become self reliant, sustainable, and to thrive. Our Purpose is to connect resources to community residents and local small businesses.

Helping Other People Everyday (H.O.P.E) Community Initiatives promotes economic growth, health & wellness, financial education, workforce & career development, and entrepreneurship to improve the quality of life in South L.A. communities. Through program and event collaborations with LASCC Members and Community Partners, our goals are to bridge and foster relationships between local businesses, government agencies, and community residents, in order to help South L.A. communities become sustainable and to thrive.

Entrepreneurs Training Program
The Empowering Your Business (EYB) is design to promote, recruit, and train aspiring Entrepreneurs. EYB will also support existing small businesses to become competitive, sustainable, and profitable. This is accomplished by introducing students, residents, and aspiring entrepreneurs to LASHF resources and programs.
Youth Mentoring Programs (MYT)
Our Mentoring Youth Team (MYT) are design to inspire and train our youth (ages 8yrs-16yrs old). We will provide mentoring, financial literacy workshops, career guidance, conflict resolutions, life skills training, field trips, youth expo's, and entrepreneurship training.
Non Profits, Faith Based, and Social Enterprises Collaborations
LASHF Initiatives provides nonprofit, and faith based organizations with a platform to network, strategize, exchange ideas, collaborate and discuss public policy issues impacting their community.
LASHF Consumer Advocacy is tasked with developing community oversight committees to advocate on behalf of their concerns, interests, and expectations.
