Year after year, the L.A. “Official Visitor’s Guide” has Systematically excluded South Los Angeles.
The Money, Exposure, and Benefits
Travel and tourism to Los Angeles is a Multi - Billion Dollar industry. In L.A. County alone, nearly $2.3 billion in total state and local tax revenues was generated last in 2018.
Los Angeles is the third most visited city in the United States. As the home to Beverly Hills, Hollywood, Disneyland, Santa Monica Pier, Venice Beach, and World Championship Sport Teams i.e. (L.A. Rams, L.A. Lakers, L.A. Dodgers), host of the 2022 Super Bowl, 2023 College Football Championship, 2026 FIFA World Cup, and the 2028 Olympics, Los Angeles has a huge reputation worldwide.

Los Angeles reached a historic milestone in 2018, welcoming 50 million visitors for the first time ever and accomplishing the destination’s ambitious tourism goal two years early. In surpassing 50 million total visitors, Los Angeles set new tourism records for domestic and international visitation, hosting an estimated 42.5 million domestic visitors (3 percent increase) and 7.5 million international visitors (3.6 percent increase).

In 2018, the Los Angeles travel and tourism industry contributed an all-time high $23.9 billion to the economy, generating a record $36.6 billion in total economic impact.

Tourism is a powerful force in the growth and development of the Los Angeles economy, not only showcasing our City to the world, but also creating employment opportunities for residents and providing critical support for local businesses.
Systemic and Economic Racism
What message does this send to tourists visiting Los Angeles? Many local small businesses in South Los Angeles has historically been ignored over the years and left out benefiting from this Multi-Billion Dollar industry (Tourism).
We can’t wait any longer!

• The resurgence of South L.A. Communities
• The Watts Towers
• South Los Angeles home to the best Tacos , Pupusas , Chicken and Waffles in the entire city and maybe the West Coast!
