Our Mission is to create economic growth in South L.A. through business development, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy education. The L.A. South Chamber of Commerce will provide avenues to network, training and program development; help influence public policy; and advocate legislative issues that will improve the quality of life for the entire community. Our Goal is to provide our Members with the Best Experiences at our events and programs.
The LASCC advocates for Small Businesses, and serves as a platform to build business relationships. Many businesses in South L.A. are not connected to their local government representatives, neighboring businesses, or the community they serve. Fostering new relationships creates unlimited opportunities to grow a business. Also, some professionals are frustrated with their economic status, and many are experiencing on the job dissatisfaction. Therefore, our Entrepreneurs in Training program offers support to new and aspiring entrepreneurs seeking to start their own business, and grow into a sustainable enterprise.
Our Chamber Ambassadors are Volunteers/Apprenticeships (i.e. Students, Retirees, and Community Residents) selected by the LASCC Board of Directors to support community initiatives, membership campaigns, and act as public relations liaisons.
Small Business is the backbone of our local economy, and we admire those with the courage to live their dream through business ownership. Thank you for connecting with us!
